Obituary of Andrew J. Guzik

On April 12, 2017, Andrew Guzik passed away and is now reunited with his parents Anthony and Mary Guzik. Andrew was the beloved husband and best friend of Sylvia T. Guzik for 55 years. Together Andrew and Sylvia built a strong family life and created wonderful memories with their children Karen (Mark), Andrew Jr. (Aimee), and Sherri (Paul). They were blessed with 7 grandchildren Rebecca, Jessica, Timothy, Alexa, Paul Jr., Andrew III, and Abby. Andrew was an ambitious, generous, proud, and devoted family man. Andrew as a Gas Distribution Supervisor for Public Service Electric & Gas for 43 years. Throughout his lifetime, he used his skills, talents and life experiences to help others. He was a life time member of the Polish American Citizens Club, that was founded with the support of his grandfather. He was proud of his heritage and he enjoyed keeping Polish traditions alive within his family. Andrew will forever be remembered, through the lives of those who were touched, by his strong and inspirational spirit. Thank you, to all who contributed to Andrew’s amazing life. A private family memorial service was held to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Cross Academy (holycrossacademy.org) or The American Heart Association (heart.org), in memory of Andrew.
