(nee Stewart) on April 20, 2017, after a long illness, at Samaritan Hospice, Mt. Holly. Age 74. Born in Burlington, Karen was a resident of Edgewater Park for the past 50 years. Karen was a 1960 graduate of Burlington City High School and a 1964 graduate of the University of Delaware. She was employed as an administrative supervisor for 36 years at the Board of Social Services, Mt. Holly, retiring in 2002. Beloved wife of 53 years to Wayne C. Devoted mother of Michael S. Loving daughter of the late F. Karl Stewart and Marilyn R. Stewart. Dear sister of the late Lynne Stewart. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Karen’s funeral service, Saturday, April 29, 2017, 11:00 am at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 158 Warren St, Beverly, NJ 08010 where friends may call one hour prior to the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053 or the American Diabetes Foundation at diabetes.org/donate. Arrangements under the direction of the Chadwick Memorial Home, Riverside.
