Karen G. Kaluhiokalani
on August 23, 2016, age 56. Karen was born and raised in Riverside. Known as " Miss K" to her students at Magowan Elementary School, Edgewater Park. Karen was their mentor for 26 years and a Latchkey Coordinator for several years. Honoring Karen’s service, she was the proud recipient of the "Magowan's Teacher of the Year”. Beloved daughter of Janet M. (nee Jones) and the late Reuben S. (Dutch), Sister of Karl A. Sr. ( Kathleen), Gary J. (Barbara) and Chris F. (Sherry). Karen is also survived by her loving German shepherd “Kanani”, and by many nieces and nephews. Service and interment are private. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society,1851, Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
