Mary Ann Bell (nee Meer) passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the age of 88. Born in Philadelphia Mary Ann was a lifelong resident of Riverside. Mary Ann and her beloved late husband Clifford S. Bell, together raised their children Michael Bell (Jill), Patti Ferris (George), Kathy Forcellini (Karl), Beth Ann Hoffman (Jimmy), Mark Bell (Karin) and the late Mary Beth Bell. She was the loving Grandmother of Abigail, Rebecca, Michael Jr., Ryan, Victoria, Jessica, Nick, Brooke and Josh. Dear sister to Bridget Meer and the late Patricia Leadem. She was also predeceased in death by her beloved Uncle Joe. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved very much. Mary Ann never moved more than two blocks while living in Riverside. Over the course of her life, she made many friends who would spend many hours on the side porch or around the dinner table on holidays. She will also be remembered for her family picnics during the summer with all of her aunts and uncles at the house. In addition to many family picnics she also enjoyed many beach trips with her beloved friends. Before her children were born Mary Ann was a preschool teacher at Holly Day School, a job she loved. Later on in life, Mary Ann worked at another job she loved, which was in the fine jewelry department at Strawbridge & Clothier in the Burlington Mall. There she met and became friends with many of her co-workers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Friday evening from 6 to 8pm and Saturday morning from 9am to 10am at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside NJ 08075. Following the Saturday morning viewing a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am at Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Joseph's Church, 805 Warren St., Beverly.
