Obituary of Donald Ray Madison Sr.

Donald Ray Madison Sr. passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 59. Born in Pensacola, Fl., Don was a longtime resident of Riverside. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. Don was employed as a Mail Room Coordinator for PNC Bank, Moorestown. He was a Boston Celtics fan, enjoyed playing in fantasy basketball leagues with his son and daughter, trips to Myrtle Beach SC/Family reunions, visiting his in-laws Bob and Nancy Hose in the Poconos on the lake, boating and hand feeding the deer. His love of music began as a little boy when his dad would play reel to reels. More recently, he especially enjoyed time spent talking with and playing Call of Duty games with his brother Erwin. Beloved husband of 28 years to Carolyn Madison (nee Hose). Devoted father of Lynette Marie Madison and Donald Ray Madison Jr. (Emily). Pop Pop to JJ and Brianne. Dear brother of Erwin Madison (Ruby), Johnny Allen Madison “Spanky” and the late Lenora Burton. Uncle of EJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 10am until 12 noon at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster Street, Riverside, immediately followed by his service at noon. Interment private.
