Reba, I'm so sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. I was blessed to have known your sister because I had the pleasure of being your best and dearest friend all through High School. Debbie is now a beautiful Angel who will continue to protect you, as she always has done.
One funny memory is you and I going to your house for lunch (almost daily) and worrying which sister might be home and what we would do if they were. Why? Because we were not supposed to have been going there for lunch in the first place and I am saying this with a smile, such good times with you and your sisters ... Such fun, exciting, truly good good memories. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your entire family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.

Debra was a great wife, mother, grand mother, sister, but above all a person. As her neighbor, always a smile, a source for guidance, a friend who made negative into positive. She was a voice of reason even down to politics. Not only will she be missed by all the lives she has touched, she will be missed by me. RIP Debra.

I’m so sorry to hear about Debbie’s passing. I remember, as a kid, one time when we were all gathered at my parents’ house for some family event, she told my brother Anthony and me the story of the ghost that lived in the house where she grew up. She even gave us a police-style sketch of the ghost. We were completely entranced and asked if we could keep the drawing. Debbie told us we absolutely could — but that we should know anyone who had a copy of the picture had also seen the ghost in person. We told her we weren’t scared at all.
After everyone went home that night, we were left alone with the picture. Suddenly, we didn’t want it anymore. We begged our parents for an envelope and a stamp, stuffed the drawing inside, addressed it to Debbie, and late that night RAN to the nearest mailbox, dropped it in, and ran home — convinced this would keep the ghost from showing up since we no longer had the image.
I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up with so many family gatherings. Debbie and the Czarsasty family were a big part of our childhood. Rest in peace, Debbie, and sending love to the whole family.

Couldn’t have picked better neighbors if we tried. Deb was incredibly welcoming and kind to us. Always enjoyed talking to her. When we had children she was always so good to them. Seemingly behold and birthday she’d give them such thoughtful gifts. Our family is going to miss her very much.
