Obituary of Debra A. Czarzasty
Please share a memory of Debra to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Debra A. Czarzasty (nee Wilkins), passed away peacefully Friday, January 2, 2026, at the age of 68. Born in Riverside, Debra was a resident of Delran for the past 45 years. She was employed for 27 years as a teacher for the Township of Riverside where she was loved by many of her students.
Daughter of the late Ervin and Lois Wilkins. Beloved wife to Carl S. Czarzasty for 45 years. Devoted mother of Erin E. Wharton (Craig) and Chad E. Czarzasty (Patrick). Loving grandmother of Savannah, Bryce and Nicky. Dear sister of Sandi Jaskowiak (Bob-deceased), Kim Parente (Al), Sherry Lallo and Reba Kohn (Bill). Debra is also survived by numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Debbie found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially tending to her gardens, where she spent countless peaceful hours. She also enjoyed hunting for unique antique treasures to rehome in Delran or LBI. Spending time down the shore at Long Beach Island with her family and friends was always something she cherished. You’d always be welcomed with a, “Heyyy, hon,” whenever you arrived. Nothing made her happier than being with her grandchildren when they’d play games, draw, and create memories filled with love, laughter, and “Mommom’s juice”.
Her Moravian faith meant so much to her and shaped the way she lived – with kindness, humility, and love for others.
Debbie leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories that will be cherished always.
