Obituary of Gordon H. Holcomb

Gordon H. Holcomb passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the age of 91. Born in Canton, New York, he lived in various places while serving in the military. After his time in service, he settled in Willingboro, New Jersey for work. Twenty-four years later, he moved to Eastampton, New Jersey, where he spent his remaining years. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Gordon was employed as a litigation specialist for the Utica National Insurance Company for 26 years. Gordon was an avid golfer who proudly played on the U.S. Air Force team, and he also loved bowling. But more than any sport, he cherished time spent with his wife and family. To his children and grandchildren alike, he lived by—and passed on—simple, powerful words: “Work hard and never give up". Beloved husband of nearly 70 years to Bonnie Holcomb (nee Clark). Devoted father of Brenda Thomas (Jeff), John Holcomb (Ida), Jeff Holcomb (Jen) and Betsy D’Allesandro (John). Brother of Jack (Lisa) Holcomb. Loving Pop Pop of Jason, Brandon, Amber, Stephanie, Caitlin, Samantha, Travis, Ryan, Ashley and Chelsea. Proud Great Grandfather of 5 and two on the way. Service and interment private at the convenience of the family.
