Shirley Brogan, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Born in Mt.
Holly, Shirley was a longtime resident of Deran. She was employed for a brief time at Beaunit Mills in Beverly before dedicating herself to caring for her home and family.
Shirley enjoyed spending time with friends and playing card games. She loved shopping, dining out with friends, and traveling, including many enjoyable vacations to Otter Lake and other destinations. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and took great pleasure in entertaining, often bringing family and friends together in her home.
Daughter of the late Harry and Lillian Kemble, Shirley was the beloved wife of the late John E. Brogan and devoted mother of the late Daniel J. Brogan. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Sara Brogan and her loving granddaughter Kadi Brogan.
She was the sister of Wesley Kemble (Betty), Carol Millazzo (Tony), Sandra Fiordimondo (Russell), and the late Harry Kemble and Lorraine Van Sciver (Bob). She is also survived by her sister-in-law Anna Kemble. Shirley was the dear friend of the late Helen Marter, and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Friday, March 13, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster Street, Riverside.
Interment will follow at Monument Cemetery, Beverly.
