of Barnegat Township, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the age of 63.
Pamela was born in Riverside to the late Edward J. Powell and the late Margaret Obergfell Powell. She was a girl scout leader of the Tri-Towns and a graduate of Holy Cross High School and Stockton University. Pamela was president of her family company, Obergfell Fuel, Inc. and also served in the coding department of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire.
Pam’s home was her castle and everyone who knew her knew she was devoted to beautifying it. She loved her family, books by Danielle Steele, musicals and American history.
Pamela is survived by her husband Henry (Hank) of 32 years, her two daughters, Danielle (nee Doran) Ficarra (Christopher) and Meredith Gosselin (Cameron), her five grandchildren, Vicki, Lindsey, Brienna, Brendan and Vincent; and her three great grandchildren Jaxon, Kyle and Jaxon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Pam’s viewing Wednesday morning from 8-10 am at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, NJ 08075. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Branch Pike and Pomona Rd., Cinnaminson. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside. Donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital @ www.St.Jude.org.
