Obituary of Robert "Bob" Laverty

Bob passed away on Jan. 31, 2018 at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly. Age 82. Born in Phila., PA, Bob was a longtime resident of Riverside, before moving to Mt. Laurel . He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He was employed as a foreman at Cardo Automotive Rebuilders in Philadelphia for 35 years. Bob was an avid fan of the Eagles and Phillies.

Beloved husband of 53 years to Leonette M. (nee Shepper), Devoted father of Robert J. (Madeline) and Mary Beth Okupinski (Tom). Loving grandfather of Christa, Brielle and Robby. Dear brother of Betty Dawson, Jane Vorhaver and the late Jack, Andy, Billy and Larry. Also surviving, his dear friends at the Senior Care of Delran.

Relatives and friends are invited  to attend the viewing Thursday evening from 6 pm - 8 pm and Friday morning from 10 am - 11 am at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, NJ 08075. Service 11 am at the funeral home. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside.
