Jennie Urban (nee Cannone) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday August 30, 2018.  Born 05/05/1931 to the late Domenico and Helen Cannone.


Jennie was the devoted wife of 50 years to the late Don.  She was the loving mother of Kathleen Coller (Harry) and Donna M. Urban (late Jim Barnes). She is survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Coller (Erin), Mark Coller (Maureen), Shawn Coller (Julie), Nathan Stypinski (Eric Blevins), and Vanessa Carreira (David). She was GG to Adriana, Grace, Kellyn, Gianni, James, Colin, Lucinda, Alanna, Shannon, Madison and Baby Sophie due in December.  Dear sister of George Cannone (Lorraine Campo), Helen Janney (Joseph) and the late Anthony Cannone (late Dolores). Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins, all who held a special place in her heart.  Friends of 60 years Dot and Squid Leuallen. Special neighbors Darlene and Kurt Scheimreif.

Jennie was a graduate of St, Mary of the Angels Academy, Haddonfield, Class of ‘49.  After graduating married the love of her life Don.  She was a Homemaker, volunteered in the St. Peter’s School Cafeteria while her daughters were there.  Enjoyed summers with her family at Barnegat Light. In later years, she and Don would travel to various vacation spots until they found Bailey Island, ME.  They vacationed there for over 25 years.  She was a devoted parishioner of St. Casimir Parish and always spoke of her church friends. She was a very thoughtful and caring person and would send out many greeting cards throughout the years to keep in touch.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Thursday evening from 6-8 pm and Friday 9-10 am at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, NJ 08075. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am at Resurrection Parish, St, Casimir Church, Riverside. Entombment St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside.

Donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
