Obituary of Gail V. Forssell

May 30, 1929 - February 16, 2015 Gail Vivian (Dutt) Forssell passed away peacefully at home on February 16, 2015. She was the wife of Charles F. Forssell, Jr. Born May 30, 1929, in Princeton, New Jersey, she was the only child of the late Mervin A. and Carolyn P. (Kays) Dutt. She was eighty-five years old. Her family moved to Riverside, New Jersey where she graduated from Riverside High School and went on to further her education in nursing. Gail’s service to the community included her membership in the Zion Lutheran Church Altar Guild of Riverside, New Jersey, Past President of Soroptimist International and a Rotarian of the Riverside, Delran and Delanco, New Jersey Rotary Club. She was a sweet and loving stay-at-home mother. Her personal interests were many including sewing, crocheting, knitting, beeswax candle-making, collecting owls, and her beloved kittens. She was an at-large member if the Ladies Guild Baby Ministry of the Church of St. Bernadette Church in Canadensis, Pennsylvania, where many newborns were warmed with her crocheted creations. Gail was a nature enthusiast who enjoyed lazy days of camping with her family at Bell Plains, New Jersey, Promised Land State Park, Pennsylvania, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Hickory Run State Park, Pennsylvania, and Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Gail enjoyed weekend card games with her friends. Gail and her husband, Charles, owned and operated C.F. Forssell and Sons Plumbing, Heating, and Custom Building of Delran, New Jersey for fifty-five years. They also enjoyed great success building their Shaklee Independent Distributorship, earning the respect of her supervisors. This provided them with several wonderful trips. In addition to her husband of sixty-five years, she is survives by her three children: Charles III (Skip and his wife Eileen of Delran, New Jersey, Eileen Choyce and her husband Wayne of Mays Landing, New Jersey, and Karl and his wife Madeleine of Canadensis, Pennsylvania. She was Gramie to five grandchildren; Stephen (Nicole), Tammy (John) David (Stacey), Michell and Emilie (Michael) and Great Grandmother to Joshua, Jessica, Shawn, Emily, Kaitlin, Connor, Reese, Hunter, and McKenzie. In honor of Gail, her family gratuitously requests that when the opportunity presents itself, please remember her with a random act of kindness. Service and interment private.
