We were sad to hear of Gary's passing in December. Even though there were many bumps in the road that was Gary's life, I believe he had a good heart and loved people. The last two years of his life were especially tough, and we'd see him often in and about the neighborhood. He always yelled out, "Good morning," etc. to us when he spotted us in the yard.
I spent quite a bit of time talking to him through the years- trying to understand him better and also trying to give him some advice on how to make his life better.
Now that he is no longer among the living, may he rest in peace.
May his family members remember the good times of his life.
