Obituary of Fresner Jean Ph.D
Dr. Fresner Jean, PhD passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Jan. 7, 2019. Age 70. Born in Port au Paix, Haiti, Fresner was a resident of Burlington Twp for the past 18 years. He was employed by the State of New Jersey, Dept. of Labor for 20 years as a bilingual counselor, retiring in 2018.
Fresner was proud to say that he was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Haiti, received his bachelor degree from Barry University, Miami Florida. A Master in Counseling at St. Thomas University, Miami Florida. His PhD degree from Phoenix University, Arizona and his law degree from Taft University, Colorado. He was also a St Thomas University Alumni. While in Florida, Fresner was a 33 degree Franc F & AM.
Beloved husband of Anne Marie Jean, devoted father of Carine Jean, Marc Andre’ Jean, Michael Alexander Jean, Matthew Adam Richard Jean, Carly Jerome and Christian Jerome. Loving grandfather of Niandrea Jean and Marques Jean. Dear brother of Marie Renette Jean Baptist, Jean Claude Jean, Elda Jean Nelfrard, Angelet Jean , Pierre Marie Monfort Jean and Marc Eli Jean. Uncle of Bruceline Michel and Shamir Michel as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Fresner’s viewing Saturday, Jan.19, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster Street, Riverside, NJ 08075. Mass of Christian Burial 1:00 pm at Jesus, The Good Shepherd Parish, St Joseph’s Church, Beverly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Society, www.autismnj.org/donate/
