Obituary of Alice M. Haran

Alice Martha Haran, age 91, passed away on February 2, 2019 at Bloom at Belfair in Bluffton, SC.  She was born on April 29, 1927 in Lambertville, NJ to Fredrick J.  and Elizabeth Miller. Elizabeth’s maiden name was Jones.

Alice grew up in Burlington, NJ.  She attended high school in Burlington, NJ. She was employed by NJ Bell Telephone and later by ATT.  She worked for the company as a telephone operator for 45 years.

Alice married John J Haran in 1948 in Burlington, NJ. They were happily married for 55 years.  John passed away in 2004.  Alice and John lived in Delanco, NJ from 1950 until John’s passing.  They also enjoyed winters in their second home in Kissimmee, FL.

Alice is survived by her son John, her granddaughter Elizabeth and great-granddaughter Emma.

Alice will be laid to rest at St. Peter’s Cemetery Mausoleum on Friday, February 8th at 10 am.
