Obituary of Mary F. Gilbert

Mary F. Gilbert (nee Ely) passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at Riverview Estates, Riverton, surrounded by her family. She was 98 years old. Mary was born in Bridgeboro, NJ and was a resident of Riverside for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, one brother and two sisters. Surviving are her loving children, Marilyn Gilbert, Joseph J. Gilbert III, Valarie Mazur and Beverly Gilbert-Lang. Dear grandmother of 4 granddaughters, 5 great grandsons and two great granddaughters.Mary was a former seamstress, but her main joy in life was her caring and loving devotion to her children and grandchildren. Mary was well known to all for her kindness, quiet good nature and humility. All who knew her, loved her. Many thanks to the devoted staff at Riverview Estates who made her final days comfortable and secure. Graveside services will be held Friday, 10 am at Lakeview Cemetery, Cinnaminson.
