Obituary of Lorraine Marie Nemchik

Please share a memory of Lorraine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On March 23, 2020, Lorraine Marie Nemchik, caring wife, mother of two children, grandmother to five, and great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren, passed away at the age of 89. She has been a resident of Delanco, New Jersey for 7 decades raising her children and opening her home to family and friends whenever the opportunity presented itself. Lorraine Boche was born October 1, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA and raised her siblings as her own as a young woman. She met Richard Michael Nemchik Sr. and they married June 6, 1953. She raised her two children, Richard Michael Jr. and Janet Marie, in their home in Delanco that they still own. Lorraine was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Willingboro. She had an artistic talent that she and her husband would share in making furniture and all sorts of home decor. She also loved shopping, keeping Boscovs in business, cooking big meals for her family, baking great desserts, and hosting yard sales. Lorraine loved her family and friends fiercely, always offering to help when needed whether it was an open bed, food, or a hug. The minute you walked into her home she offered you food and a drink and made you feel welcome with her warm hug, her big, beautiful blue eyes, and records playing in the living room. She made friends wherever she went and treated them like family always. You could count on Lorraine as a loving friend and family member. She bravely fought a chronic illness until March 23rd when she left this earth and joined her beloved brother Gary A. Boche, Vietnam War Veteran, in heaven with her Lord. Lorraine is survived by her husband Richard Michael Nemchik Sr., her son Richard Michael Nemchik Jr. and his wife Rose, her daughter Janet Marie Lee (Nemchik) and her husband Dale, her grandchildren Richard Michael Nemchik III, his wife Kimberly and their children Matthew and Ethan, grandchild Amber Gardner, her husband Spencer and their children Mya, Liam, and Noah, grandchild Ashley Augustine, her husband Benjamin, and their children Brody, Bella, Bruce, and Banks, grandchild Jillian Willis and her husband Andrew, and grandchild Jesse Lee and his partner Kelsey Adams. She is also survived by her half-brother Charles Boche and step-brother George Wolfert. Funeral services and interment are private.
