Craig D. Wanckel, of _Riverisde NJ passed away April 11, 2020. Age 61. Born in Riverside NJ, Craig was a longtime resident of Riverside. Craig enlisted in the US Army right out of high school in 1977, he proudly served in the Military Police while stationed in Germany. Craig was a surgical technologist for 28 years . He worked at Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro for 28 years. Craig had a love for life. He loved fishing, playing pool, NASCAR, and concerts. Craig was an avid Phillies and Raiders fan.
Beloved domestic partner of Janet Laning for 22 years. Father of Danny Keith Wanckel and Brian Michael-Ligus-Wanckel, step father to Shaun and Eddie and grandfather to Shelbie and Roman. Loving son of the late Eugene Wanckel and Deanna Dekal Sweeten and Dorothy Hankins Wanckel. Dear brother of Lisa Manera, Gene Wanckel, Marsha Wanckel, Dwayne (Zeke) Wanckel, Valerie Dippner, and Tracy Ritchie. Service and interment to take place at a later date.
