Dorothy B. Wanckel (nee Hankins) passed away peacefully at home, Monday, March 1, 2021 at the age of 79. Born and raised in Riverside, Dorothy was a lifelong resident.
She was employed at Merchant and Evans, Burlington as a receptionist and shipping clerk. She was a member of the Riverside Bowling Ass’n., enjoyed going shopping at Boscov’s for her grandchildren, loved her Jeep, family dinners and cooking fried flounder. Dorothy had a crush on Phila. Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.
Beloved wife of the late Eugene Wanckel. Devoted mother of Gene Wanckel, Marsha Wanckel ,Dwayne (Zeke) Wanckel and the late Craig D. Wanckel. Loving grandmother of Derek and Justin Wanckel.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects to the family Friday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at Dobbins Methodist Church, 330 Union Ave., Delanco.
