Obituary of Walter L. Czarzasty

Walter L. Czarzasty passed away peacefully on March 26, 2021 at the age of 90 with his beloved wife by his side. Walter was a lifelong resident of Riverside, NJ, and he was an altar boy at St. Casimir Church. Walter graduated from Palmyra High School(1948), and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy (1949-1950). Walter was employed for over 37 years as a tool and die maker for RCA in Camden, NJ, and he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. John Neumann Council 1436 for 36 years. Beloved husband of 69+ years to Lucy (nee Giacchino), Walter adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Devoted father of John, Carl (Debra), Mark (Linda), Paul (Kathleen) and the late Alan. Loving grandfather of Laura, Erin, Chad, Devon, the late Casey, Kevin, Tyler, Alexander, Shannon, and Bryant. Great grandfather of Jake, Matthew, Andrew, Layla, Taylor, Savanah, Bryce and Wyatt. Walter's favorite pet was his dog Nitro. The viewing and service will be at Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside on Thursday morning April 1, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Due to COVID considerations, the viewing, service and interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Riverside will be private. Masks and social distancing will be used.
