Joan Cassady passed away peacefully on December 15, 2021. Born in Wilkes-Barre,PA, Joan was a longtime resident of Riverside. She was a woman of faith who Loved her family and friends unconditionally. She loved her trips to Atlantic City, her online slots and her walks at the St. John Neumann Monastery to say the rosary. Joan was a wiz in the kitchen, her potato pancakes were the best as well as her coleslaw. Predeceased by her Loving husband Arthur J. Cassady, Mother of the late Susan and Lorraine, Grandmother of the late Ryan Cooper. Joan is survived by her Loving daughter Theresa A. Cassady (Steve Cooper), her son James Cassady, her 3 grandchildren, Steven, Sean and Jonick who were the apples of her eye. Great grandmother of Christian, Caleb,Grace, Noah and Shiloh. Mom-mom to Hunter and Storm. Come Celebrate 79 years on Tuesday Dec. 21st from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster Street, Riverside, NJ. Service to follow at noon. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, Riverside.
