Robert H. Knoll (Bob) passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2022, at the age of 84. Born October 7th 1937, and raised in Riverside, he was a Polk street resident since 1966. He lived in Burlington for a few years prior to attending Riverside High School. Bob proudly served his country in the U. S Army and studied electronics and radio repair. He was a member of the Riverside String Band and played guitar in the Colt 45’s Country Western Band through the 60’s and 70’s. Bob was employed and retired as an electrician for Yates Industries Inc., Bordentown. Bob enjoyed boating and water skiing with his kids, taking advantage of the Rancocas Creek for a summer cool down. Exploring local yard sales on his bike and flea markets for hidden treasures became his retirement passion. Buying, selling and studying the history behind the war memorabilia and other collectables sparked his interest. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved watching old western movies. He was also past president of the Riverside Historical Society. Beloved husband of 60 years to Elva “Ellie” Knoll (nee Marshall). Devoted father of Robert J. (Robin), Kim Iulianetti (Ernie), Marc (Janis) and Brian (Kristin). Loving grandfather of Alyssa, Scott (Jessica), Jaclyn, Jenn, Jason, Rylan, Marcus and Robert. At the request of the family, service and interment will take place privately. Donations may be made to the Riverside Historical Society, 10 Zurbrugg Way, Riverside, NJ 08075.
