Mildred Virginia Albasi (nee Carter), 89 of Riverside, NJ, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Riverview Estates, Riverton, NJ. Mildred was born in New York City on July 18th, 1933 and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. Through the years, she resided in several towns, including Malvern, PA, Milford, Delaware, Cinnaminson, Medford Lakes and Riverside. Mildred was a lifelong Episcopalian, active in St. Stephen’s Church, Riverside as well as an active Eastern Star Member for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Donald G. Albasi. She is survived by her children, Walter Albasi (Mae Adams), Rapid City, SD, Virginia Kassa, Maple Shade, NJ and Robert Albasi (Elizabeth) of Cinnaminson, NJ. Mildred was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, blessed with seven grandchildren, Josh, Kyle and Ian Albasi, Jonathan and Kelly Kassa and Matthew and Alyson Albasi, great granddaughter Angelina Albasi. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation, Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 10 am to 11 am at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 324 Bridgeboro St., Riverside, NJ. Funeral service 11 am. Interment at Monument Cemetery, Beverly will take place privately.
