Obituary of Thomas Desante Sr.

Thomas Desante Sr. passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 88. Born in Riverside, Thomas was a resident of Delanco for over 40 years. He was employed as a mechanical sheet metal engineer for the Enclosure Corp., Cromwell Heights, PA. After retirement, Tom worked as a cook for ten years at Derby’s Tavern, Riverside. He had a great interest in cars, repairing most of his friends and neighbors vehicles when they ran into a problem. Tom also enjoyed watching wrestling, hanging out with his friends but most of all being with his grandchildren whom he bribed with cake and gum. Beloved husband of the late Patricia A. Desante (nee Widzins). Devoted father of Gail A. Desante-Cliver (the late Richard D. Cliver Sr.), Thomas Desante Jr. and the late Patricia A. Desante Stayton. Loving grandfather of 10, great grandfather of 13. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Saturday morning, December 3, 2022 from 9am to 11am at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster Street, Riverside, followed by a service at 11am.
