Obituary of Harold D. Rose

Harold D. Rose, Jr. passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2022, at the age of 92 surrounded by his family. Born in Riverton, Harold was a resident of Delran for the majority of his life. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was employed as a foreman at the Hoegannes Corporation, Cinnaminson for 37 years. He was a member of the Delran Historic Society, was an avid fisherman and a member of the Foxy Hunting Club, Medford. Harold enjoyed many years hunting in the woods of Maine. He loved gardening and supplied many of the local farm markets in the area with fresh vegetables from his garden over the years. Son of the late Harold D. Rose, Sr and Camille Rose (nee Gorman). Beloved husband of sixty-six years to Joan Rose (nee Krenzel). Devoted father of Patricia Upton (the late William), Diane Grdinich (the late Jack), Harold D. Rose III, Brian Rose and Nancy Rose. Dear brother of Peggy Darling, Doris Goldy, Betty Law and the late Larry Rose. Loving grandfather of Danielle Grdinich, Ryan Upton, Megan Upton, Dylan Upton, Caitlyn Rose, Chris Bracken and the late Kristen Concordia. Great grandfather of AJ Concordia, Chase Concordia and Malachy Atkinson-Upton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Harold’s viewing Friday morning, December 16, 2022 from 9 am to 11 am at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster Street, Riverside, followed by his service at 11 am. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Cinnaminson.
