Janet C. Walker passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Monday, October 9, 2023, at the age of 81. Janet was a lifelong resident of Riverside. She was employed as a machine operator for Quickie Manufacturing, Delran. Janet loved to watch old movies, especially old westerns. She also enjoyed watching soap operas, wrestling and game shows. Devoted mother of J. Marie Gallagher (George), David Walker (Sandra). Kim Evans (Tim) and Pamela Brey (Michael). Also survived by longtime family friend, Robert Johnson and closest and dearest friend, Anne Bruno. Loving grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 11 and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Florence Lutton and the late Doris Lovett and the late Wilber Taylor. Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects to the family, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 3 pm until 5 pm at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster Street, Riverside, NJ. Service to follow at 5 pm. Private interment at Lakeview Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet’s name may be made to Samaritan Gifts Processing Center, P.O. Box 71425, Philadelphia, PA 19176-1425.
