Obituary of Ronald T. McCurdy

On Sept. 8, 2015. Age 76. Born in Mt. Holly, Ron was a lifelong resident of Riverside. He proudly served his country as a Navy veteran. He grew up in the Bridgeboro section of Riverside and was known as one of the original “Bridgeboro Boys”. He was a Teamsters truck driver and enjoyed his coffee visits with family and friends. Ron enjoyed the Phillies and was an avid fan of boxing and loved to draw. If something was broken, he had the ability to fix it. Ron was also employed as the “Taxi Driver” for his grandchildren. Son of the late Ella Hullings. Father of Ronda Woods (Steve), Victoria McCurdy, Tyrone McCurdy, James Dempsey (Dorothy) and the late Sandra Johnson. Brother of Blake McCurdy (Jan), Dan Flagg (Lynne), Terry Gillespie (Jim) and the late Russell McCurdy and Sandra Lopez. Grandfather of Joshua Woods and Kayla Woods, Mook, Pickles, and Squirt. Also survived by special great-grandson Mo. Lifelong friend of Al Herman. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
