Obituary of Harold Shinn Jr.

Harold Shinn Jr., better known as “Shinnie, H or Howie passed away Sept. 9, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. Age 85. Born in Florence, NJ, Harold spent the majority of his life in Riverside, NJ . He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed at Hoeganaes, Cinnaminson, NJ as a high alloy material handler. Shinnie was an active member of the Polish American Club, Turners, the Riverside Sports Club, Elks-Wildwood and former Riverside Moose. He loved playing shuffleboard, darts and horseshoes. He had a passion for travel, spending his summers in North Wildwood and spending time with his loving family and friends. He was a devoted husband and father and a great friend to marry. Shinnie will be loved and missed by all the lives he touched. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Sadowski), Devoted father of Lynda Dodd (John Killian) and Sandra Shinn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Tuesday morning from 8:30am to 10am at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, NJ 08075. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am at Jesus, The Good Shepherd Parish (St. Peter’s Church) Riverside, NJ . Interment St Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside, NJ.
