James A. Manaloris passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the age of 78. Born in NYC, NY, James was a resident of Delran, NJ for the past 50 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. James was a prison chaplain for the former Yardville Correction Center, now known as the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility.
Past Grand Knight of St. John Neumann Council #1436, Knights of Columbus. Ordained Deacon of the Trenton Diocese in 1996. Prison Ministry for Burlington and Camden County. CCD teacher for Holy Name Parish. Secretary for Holy Name Society.
Beloved husband of 48 years to Phyllis B. Manaloris (nee Martin). Devoted father to Megan Manaloris. Loving, grandfather of Tyler Kubach. Dear brother of Paul Manaloris and the late Michael Manaloris. Uncle of Michael Manaloris (Yvonne).
Relatives and friends may pay respects to the family Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 9:30 am until 11 am at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster Street, Riverside. Service 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice - PO Box 71425, Philadelphia, PA 19176 or Wounded Warriors www.woundedwarriorproject.com.
