Dear Ray, not a day goes by that I haven't thought of you. I miss you a lot. Life will never be the same without you, but because of you, life has new meaning. So many things remind me of you. There is a gummy bear commercial on TV! Go figure ;) Your existence here touched so many in a variety of ways. You meant so much to so many. I hope you know how special and loved you are. I met your dad, sister and step-mother and felt the same warmth from them, that I experienced with you,

We are so very sorry for the loss. It has come as a complete shock to me as I am sure it has for you. I know there are no words that can help the situation, but just keep in mind all of the memories that you share. I met Ray right after high school. We were next door neighbors on Branch Pike and met through a mutual friend and became pretty close for a couple years. Ray would get a friend of mine and I to hang out with a great group of friends and met some really wonderful people through Ray. He always loved to make you smile and took the time to care for you in his own ways. He had such a kind heart and soul. May he find peace and watch over all of you...find comfort that he will take care of you and you will see him again.
