It so saddens me to know that Bob is no longer with us. He truly was the salt of the earth; generous to a fault and such a good complement to Joyce. Not only will he be missed, he will be remembered!

Dear Joyce, I don't know if you remember us. For several seasons we and Collies brother Rick kept a houseboat at Hawk Island Marina and Bob was so helpful to us in countless ways. Both of you were kind enough to invite us into you lovely home and we cherish these experiences and memories. Collie says to tell you the beaded dragon fly you gave us still flys on our porch. We just learned of Bobs passing via john at the marina. All week we have been exchanging Bob stories with Rick, who had the most interaction with Bob because he lived on the houseboat for a while; one of the best adventures of his life he says and Bob was an essential part of this. MY BIG BROTHER BOB HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY "GO TO PERSON" THROUGHOUT MY LIFE. HE WAS THERE FOR ME EVEN WHEN I DIDN'T ASK. BOB HAS HAD A POSITIVE IMPACT ON SO MANY.......PEOPLE HE KNEW AND DIDN'T. HEART OF GOLD, GENEROUS TO A FAULT, SWEET, GOOD NATURED, HANDSOME, SMART, INTELLIGENT, GIVING,,,,,,,,,,,,

So sorry to hear about Bob. He was an inspiration to me, a little kid who lived next door. Welding, fixing, loosing an eye! I have nothing but fond memories of Bob and the things he did that inspired me to be who and what I am today. The world has lost a magnificent person, and I will miss him and remember him always.
