Obituary of Raymond Martin Zollner

Raymond Martin Zollner passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro. He was 72. He was born July 28, 1943, to Raymond and Catherine (Kloepfer) Zollner in Philadelphia. Ray enjoyed hunting, golf, cigars, home improvement projects, and keeping his lawn exquisitely maintained. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sherry Mines; their son, Danny Zollner; his beloved dog, Lucky; his four children from his first marriage, Kimberly Vaknin, Nancy Blanco, Raymond Zollner III and Wendy Perez; his sisters, Theresa Clark (Bill) and Catherine Cellini; his eight grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Ray spent the first half of his life working as a general contractor, and had a passion for detailed woodworking. Later in life he became a bartender at BJ’s Corner Bar in Riverside, now JD’s Sports Bar, where he worked for more than 20 years. He was previously a member of the Edgewater Park Elks Lodge 2550 and the Knights of Columbus, Sacred Heart Council, Willingboro. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, NJ 08075. The interment will be held privately.
