Obituary of Geraldine Clark McCormack

Geraldine Clark McCormack left us on June 20, 2016 at the age of 90. She was the widow of Joseph B McCormack. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was a graduate of West Catholic Girl’s High School in Philadelphia PA and Burlington County College in Pemberton NJ. Geraldine was a retiree of McGraw Hill Publishing in Delran NJ. She was a long time parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish in Willingboro where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary, later she joined the Church of the Holy Name in Delran NJ, where she attended Mass until she went to live at Marcella Center in Burlington NJ. Mom enjoyed watching college basketball, tennis and horse racing. I remember her crying when Garden State Race Track burned. An avid reader, her vacations were spent sitting on the beach in Cape May with a good book in hand. She is survived by her son Joseph McCormack/Maureen, daughter Geraldine Hoefle/Donald, her sister Patricia Harrell, Grand children Sean McCormack/Caitlin, Terrence McCormack, Colleen Spinogatti/Michael. Great Grand Daughter Hailey Spinogatti, and her cousins, nieces and nephews. The family is honoring Geraldine’s request that there not be a viewing, rather we ask family and friends to gather at Church of the Holy Name, 260 Conover Road, Delran NJ on Friday June 24th at 10:30am for a mass of Christian burial. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of IHM at Camilla Hall, 1145 King Road, Box 100, Immaculata, PA 19345
