Elizabeth T. Marrocco (Betty) passed away peacefully January 30, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was 81. Betty was the beloved daughter of the late Walt and Helen Pojat. She was born and raised in Camden where she met and married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Dominic. They were happily married for 61 years and have lived in Riverside for the past 60 years. Anyone who had any interactions with Betty will attest to the fact that Betty was a warm, loving and giving person. She loved her friends, neighbors and above all, she cherished her family. Family gave meaning to her life and every day of her life was spent thinking about family, talking with family, or spending time with family. Betty was a loving wife, Mom, and Mom-Mom and sister. Betty is survived by her husband Dominic, her daughter Lisa DeSanto of Cinnaminson, her son, Dominic and daughter-in-law Roseann of Delanco, cherished grandchildren, Jerry, Lia, Alyssa and Chris, brother Stanley Pojat (Ann) of Edgewater Park, cousin Diane Anderson and family of Hazleton, PA, Molly, her loyal and beloved dog and many other granddogs. Betty was preceded in death by her son, Mark (Roc). Not a day went by without her thinking of him and calling out his name. Friends may call from 8:30 am to 10:30 am Saturday, February 4 at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, NJ. Service 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network, 425 Spring Lake Dr., Itasca, IL 60143 or the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090.
