I’ll never forget spending my Saturday and Sunday mornings playing Super Tecmo Bowl for NES original system with my Uncle Johny. My brother Kevin and I would wait turns getting our butts kicked by him as he would ALWAYS play as the Raiders. If you don’t recall, the Raiders in the 89/90 season had Bo Jackson as their running back and he was the best (Bo knows best)! My uncle would play the season and when Bo was in “Excellent” condition, he would then play exhibition games with us. Bo Jackson was so good in that game the Uncle Johny would run backwards on the field and laugh as we couldn’t figure out how he was doing that. Then after running around in the backfield, he would score a touchdown EVERY time. We didn’t care much “getting our asses handed to us” as he would say, it was all about spending time with him in the den. I love my Uncle Johny and Aunt Pattie very much and they will always have a special place in my heart for helping out 3 kids in need. Rest in Peace Uncle Johny.

My Uncle was my hero as a kid. I always looked up to him while admiring him as a person. He took my brother, sister and myself in when our parents split up. During that difficult time, my uncle and aunt bestowed their love and gifted us with a endevoring ideology of what family is.
The thing he showed me that I will always appreciete was that I could succed at anything I applied myself for.
I owe a lot to him and in many ways, much of the values I charish today are build on the foundation of the love he showed me when I needed it the most.
You are loved and dearly missed.
- Kevin

Johnny Meyers always looked after my family and I. He was able to provide me with a plethora of amazing childhood memories. He gifted my sister and I with an abundance of love and support. I have him to thank for the joys of being able to experience Disney World and Universal Studios with my family during tough financial times. I will always cherish his kind nature and larger than life persona. He granted me with such otherworldly kindness and love. I’ll never forget the times he spoiled my sister and I. He was another grandfather figure for me and I knew I could always rely on him for making me feel like a princess! He wanted nothing but the best for people and would do anything for anyone he loved. I will always hold onto those special moments we were able to have together. He loved my family and I like no other and we will miss his him and his heart of gold. He was the kind of guy you thought could only exist in the movies! Uncle Johnny you were one in a million and I hope he rests knowing that he made this world a better place. With love, Julianna Ciccantelli ❤️

My name is Vincent Ciccantelli and I would like to shed some light on the impact Johnny had on my life. I called Johnny Meyers, Uncle John out of the respect he had earned from me by setting a wonderful example of how to guide, raise and encourage a young man to be the best he could possibly be. Uncle John and Aunt Patti helped fill in the gaps during my childhood and then again for my family and my two girls with countless gifts and lifetime experiences that helped shape their lives. I can recall so many great memories of Holloween, Christmas, trips to the arcade, coming out to watch my football and baseball games, driving me to visit my father, Phillies games, Flyers games and the phenomenal meals we had together. It was John's larger than life persona, that I always carried with me when life got a little tough or when I needed a little more courage to get me the positive result I needed to reach that next rung or foothold in life. "Yo Vince let me know If I need to drive down there to Florida and give someone a good beating"? It didn't matter the geographical distance between us. It was his confidence in his voice and his belief in me that I knew I was not going at life alone. May God Bless Uncle Johnny and let us carry his spirit on, so we can encourage and let the good times roll in our own little circle of influence. Heaven will definitely be a more interesting place with him now that he is in. Probably many changes going on up there as I type this tribute.Thank you all for your time and thank you Uncle Johnny for touching so many of our lives in an impactful way.
