Obituary of John H. Myers Jr.

John H. Myers Jr. passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the age of 70. Born in Camden, John was a longtime resident of Delran. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He loved his cars and took great joy driving his 2006 Mercedes AMG drop top. Beloved husband of 42 years to Patricia A (nee Henning). Dear Brother of Ellen Myers and the late Denise Myers. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Monday, March 18, from 10AM to 11AM at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St, Riverside. Funeral service 11AM at the funeral home. John was a retired Shop Steward with Local 30 Composition Roofers in Philadelphia and Atlantic City. He was a member of Delran VFW Post 3020. Johnny loved to decorate the house for Halloween and Christmas. He made sure "Santa and the Mrs." always made an appearance. He definitely knew how to throw a party! John had a heart of gold and loved his dogs but he especially loved his Patti. John loved to tell me how he had a paper route on Pancoast Blvd. where he delivered them on his horse!! Johnny will be sadly missed by all but never forgotten.
